Work out. Eat healthy. Don't smoke. Don't drink alcohol. Sleep 8 hours. Wear sun screen. Drink water.
However, I think this is one of the most important books anyone could read. Worth FAR more than $2.99.
Community Reviews
How Not to Age is framed as a major, science driven longevity book that pushes a plant based, food as medicine approach and is seen as worth far more than the $2.99 price. The author is also credited with donating speaking and book proceeds to charity, and the audiobook narration gets praise for its voice. The main pushback is that some of the science is viewed as selective or ideological, with a few recommendations and supplement claims drawing skepticism. A solid low cost pick if the topic and approach fit your interests.
The book's author donates all funds from speaking engagements and book sales directly to charity.
The audiobook narration is engaging, which can make the content easier to endure.
The Kindle version is included with Kindle Unlimited for subscribers.
The plant-based, food-as-medicine approach may appeal to readers seeking vegan diet guidance.
The book's scientific rigor is criticized as disregarding rigorous research and clinging to outdated studies.
Oral NAD supplements are questioned as ineffective because the body reportedly cannot process oral NAD.
NAD supplementation is linked to serious harm in at least one family experience involving prostate cancer.
Some longevity recommendations discussed in the thread are challenged as misleading or harmful, including targets for sleep duration, sunscreen use, and drinking water guidance.

The best advice out of any longevity/aging book will only get you to the upper limit that was predetermined by your genes at birth. Us common folk can't get past genetic predisposition.
