I have the first generation of these vacs which I do like and use but hated the limited debris cup capacity. Found one of these (vac only) at a thrift store last weekend that looked like it had maybe only been used to test once for $65 so I picked it up. Night and day difference. This new model is an amazing upgrade if you have the first gen.

Ordered this on a similar deal about 18 months back. The bush unit broke (just the mechanism that allows it to stand up, not the brush assembly) and Ryobi stood behind the warranty and sent me out an entire new "tool" only kit. Pretty cool as I now have an extra motor / waste bin / shaft / tools in a box in the case I ever need them.

I am pretty happy with this vacuum as a dog owner it "seems" to do well. I say "seems" as I saw a cordless upright vacuum test website and this Ryobi was dead last????

I had this deal delivered last week, loving it. I went over a carpet that had been vacuumed with a corded unit the day prior and it pulled a lot more dirt out.
