Honestly, I'd spend $200 more and get the Callaway Edge set at Costco. Solid clubs for the price. I'd consider them a good starter set. Or you could buy used from callaway pre-owned. I've had good luck from there

I second callaway pre owned or the edge set. If you can get a set that's "good" or better you will see very little to no wear.

Just purchased from Callaway pre-owned. Ordered a like new set and got a 20% off code, so set was $500. I'll still need a bag, but the Callaway edge set will hold much better value versus Stix if you do decide to upgrade.
