Did anybody buy the groupon Plus membership for $50? The listing has a typo and it's same s description as the $15 club listing. I wanted to be sure before I bought and groupon has zero support
What do people generally get from Sam's that isn't available at Costco? Are there any things that Sam's are know for?
Sam's club is geared towards retail and wholesale(buying to resell) customers at all clubs , Costco has business center for wholesale customers and regular clubs geared towards retail customers.also Sam's club rotisserie chicken is a lot better
Mine is expiring end of month. How can I take advantage of this deal ?
I don't think anything has changed from the prior years, but I normally just use my google voice number when I initially sign up for a new membership and a new email address. It's only if you previously used the email they might add a wrinkle. So at least in my experience they don't seem to care when you obviously are at the same house address again signing up. My most recent one expired this past Tuesday and I was going to grab a new one Sunday as I (incorrectly) figured the soon to expire signup deal was as good as it'll get. So it still worked to my advantage to wait here, but now I can wait closer to July 5 mentioned in this post when I have another trip I need to make back there.
Maybe on some future year I will get to see if the google voice + new email combo works even if your current membership hasn't yet expired
My San Antonio location is a block from me and I filled up on 3.199 regular unleaded the day before it expired for why I can wait 2-3 weeks. (6-7 am before driving to the office has nobody there if you want to avoid it being busy and occasionally I might also try arriving between 840-9pm: Also this was my maybe third annual membership before I finally noticed driving closer to one of the sides of the building that mine indeed has an auto services side which mine did not seem to prominently mention. As some past/future slickdeal on tires/etc is also noteworthy and why when member services tries to upsell you on plus some day for some cheaper-sounding number due to the pro-rated time remaining on a membership, might be worth considering if such an offer is going on.)
Looks like a good deal. If you miss this one, Groupon seems to have deals many times a year.
I have both Costco and Sams upper level memberships. If you have a family, or even not, but share an account with another family member who has their own family, it's a good chance you'll get your membership fees back in rewards, like I have been doing for years and decades. If alone, not worth it too much, you'll still live a full life, won't live paying more or less than without Costco or Sams. I share with my parents.

With Sam's, I run into the issue a lot where the item is Shipping Only, and they don't offer free shipping over x amount promos. The Plus membership is worth it for me for that reason + the convenience of home delivery on the stuff I usually buy.
Their toilet paper is better than Kirkland/Costco btw. Strong but soft.

I'm a plus member with a sams credit card and I used to do all the changing email or switch accounts with the wife just to save the $50 or so. But it's a hassle cause then you have to remind the wife and you know how that goes. She doesn't like sams, she prefers aldi.😆. But then I have to call the credit card to change my new membership number and then have to wait for the card to arrive. I usually get around $1000 or more in cash back every year.

Mine expires in one month I can cancel and use this? I thought it was for new members only it says
No, you need to give it like 24 months of no activity to qualify. It flagged me for using a recent telephone number (used in 2025) so I changed everything (new email, tel#, used relatives address who lives close) and used a private browsing session. I might not have needed the alt address and browser, but I didn't want to have to fill everything out again.

edit: if i wait till July (and remember) it'll be like losing 3 months or gaining 9 for $15.
