FWIW I recently went through two "Big & Tall" gaming chairs. The GTPLAYER had poor quality control (a defective loose arm, followed by a replacement that randomly sank throughout the day) and was way too narrow for my 6'0", 230 lb lifter build. The Patiomage chair I had before was comfortable but had the same sinking issue. I finally just splurged on the Secretlab TITAN Evo XL—it's been comfortable (a little firm but I'm getting used to it), and build quality is light years beyond either of the previous two; very happy with it so far. Completely different ballpark in terms of spend, but for me it's been a "you get what you pay for" situation, and I've now "donated" ~$350 worth of chairs to my neighbors kids for their garage game-room setup.

That being said, I agree that the design looks...bad. Seems like it would push the arms, shoulders and sides of anyone but those with slim bodies forward, resulting in very poor ergonomic posture, with the exception of the lumbar area. It's not good to condition yourself to hunch your shoulders forward to avoid feeling squeezed by the claustrophobic cushions jutting out on the sides.
It's definitely worth having a look
Also, who actually believes that footrest would actually extend enough to support tall people's entire legs? 🤦 ♂️

My Titan Evo XL claims to fit up to 7'2" but the seat pan isn't adjustable and pushes into my thighs cutting off circulation. The neck/shoulder contours straight up push my back out into an awkward angle and cramp the hell out of my scapulae.
Had it 4 years now and I'm over it.
6'10" puts you around the.. top 0.0001%, or 1 in 250k. I can see how finding a comfortable chair would be.. challenging.😅
