It's lower than the current normal price, and we know the Switch 2 is going up in price soon, so this is likely the lowest price you will see on a Swith 2.

And Nintendo trying to get consumers to panic buy a console that doesn't really have more than a handful of games currently worth playing. Although I'm a casual gamer and still get use out of original switch.

I think whenever a new Mario game comes out I'll be fine with purchasing a used switch 2 at that point. The first time a nintendo console has been so disappointing or rather their lackluster selection of new games and so many damn ports/remakes. I guess they saw it working for Switch 1 and figured people wouldn't mind for Switch 2 but they couldn't be more wrong.

S2 feels very incremental over the S1. Unless there's a must play S2 game out for you right now, you'll probably be disappointed. Especially if you're coming from the OLED S1 which has a better screen imho.

Waiting to see if they release a special Zelda: Ocarina of Time bundle with skinned console. Literally the only game I want to play is that remake, so hopefully they don't gouge my nostalgia too much...

S2 is incremental to the PS5 but to the Switch 1 its a leap over a mountain. Switch 1 could barely play it's own games at a non-blurry ugly resolution and sub 30fps. S2 will never struggle with at least Nintendo's own games and the third party support is actually real this time around not reliant on "miracle" ports.

Switch 1s miracles are the Switch 2s average. Still, you advice of true. Wait for good games. It's still early.

I'm not supporting $80 games that are the same rehashed gameplay and systems for 20 years. Even with a splash of new graphics.
This console only makes sense if you are true Nintendo fan, or have/had no other consoles/PC for last five years. Or really need a good handheld at admittedly lowest price because AI slop is raising prices on all other handhelds.

Most the released games are ports from other consoles/switch 1/older Nintendo
I wanted this to be great, and seem it is for above
