Was debating on if this was worth posting or not.

You definitely can't build this machine for this price on your own, and it's in stock. These are about the highest specs you can get on a home machine at the moment, and the 5090 alone is stupid overpriced and would recoup most of the cost of the pc if you wanted to sell it.

This was on backorder and I placed an order after my desktop died. I didn't expect it to get in stock, especially when the same spec from skytech is ~$6400 right now. I was shocked when I got the shipping notification. Not sure how many they have in stock but I doubt it'll last long

This is the cheapest I could build an equivalent-ish pc with cheapest available prices on pcpartpicker. Almost $1400 more expensive than this prebuilt

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 4.3 GHz 16-Core Processor ($679.00 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 A-RGB 69.9 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($129.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus PRIME X870-P WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard ($164.93 @ Amazon)
Memory: Crucial Pro 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL40 Memory ($749.99 @ B&H)
Storage: Silicon Power UD90 4 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive ($427.97 @ Silicon Power)
Video Card: Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 5090 32 GB Video Card ($4049.99 @ B&H)
Case: Phanteks ECLIPSE G500A DRGB ATX Mid Tower Case ($59.90 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Rosewill CMG1200G5 1200 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($119.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $6381.76
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

This Skytech build stands out as a high end RTX 5090 gaming and productivity rig, with the Ryzen 9 9950X3D drawing praise for strong gaming and heavy workload performance. The 64GB of DDR5 memory and 4TB NVMe SSD add real value, and the non proprietary parts make it feel less locked down than many prebuilts. The main hesitation is price, since the same tier has cheaper 5090 options and the exact component mix can feel less transparent. It is a strong fit when top tier GPU power and a ready to run system matter most.

  • The system can deliver a strong RTX 5090 value when timing and delivered price line up.

  • The 9950X3D CPU can provide noticeable gaming gains and stronger production performance versus 9900X3D.

  • The 64GB DDR5 RAM and 4TB Gen4 NVMe SSD add practical capacity for gaming and workloads.

  • The deal may still fulfill even when the listing shows a backordered status.

  • The $5,000 price can feel too high for buyers who only want the RTX 5090 and less CPU or storage.

  • The builder cannot guarantee exact components and may substitute equivalent parts instead.

  • The CPU model can be confusing because listings or received configurations may differ from expectations.

  • The higher-end configuration can be harder to justify if you would rather wait for future RTX 5090 pricing.

I'll say if it lets you order, I think they will still order and ship it. When I ordered this it was in the "this is backordered, we'll tell you when this ships" status. I was surprised when it actually shipped, which is when I made this deal listing in the first place

Not everyone buys it for gaming and $5000 is not rich people territory. Come on

I am using it for some AI experiments and since it will hold its value, it's a free rental.

Using runpod as an example, salad is cheaper

5090 GPU is $0.99 per hour.

if I just run 8 hours a day * 30 days = $240 a month
24 hours a day if not managed well and waste time ... ooof = $712 a month

I've had my first 5090 for about 2 months now. I think I leave it on 12 hours a day cuz I'm lazy (electricity cost isn't that much but whatever).

$350 a month * 2 months so around $700 cost of using a Runpod Service vs. owning a 5090 (which I know I can resell)

I think many people are doing the same, using the 5090 for AI purposes and it can often be cheaper than getting a cloud GPU.

We ordinary people don't know anything about this. It's way out of our scope.
