my .02: worth $20 for getting to replay the games I grew up with. lots of game time for that $20

that being said, the remaster is much harder to play well than the original PS1/2 versions. Something with the coding makes the jump points/islands much more precise than the originals. I got frustrated about 1/2 way thru one of them and haven't picked it up since

As someone who hasn't played the PS1/2 versions I can attest to this. I found the running-away-from-the-screen platforming to be so frustrating in Crash 1 that I wanted to fling my controller at the wall. Meanwhile I've sunk 300+ hrs into Elden Ring with no blood pressure spikes.
