A1 combo is 399 at Best Buy right now so$379 or $20 off isn't a great deal for me.

Was hoping the x2d would go on sale, but I guess they don't discount new releases.

I was also waiting on the X2D but I guess I'll have to keep waiting.

Ditto! I was so excited when the bambu alert triggered only to find that everything BUT the X2D was on sale.

Planning to order one of these this month so good timing. Had my eye on the p2s but now that I see the comments on x2d I'm wondering if that might be worth the upgrade. $700 vs $900 but dual nozzle and heated seems worth it. Anyone have thoughts? I'm a beginner and looking for something very capable that just works.

They've made a great set of printers... but they're toxic to the community that built the vibrant ecosystem they reside within. See Louis Rossman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIbpQtoz6hs He's got a fair few videos about the issue but yeah. Plenty of less toxic companies to support, for cheaper, even at this discounted price.

For that price, I'd just buy a snapmaker u1. 4 toolheads and no waste is really nice. The printer has been fantastic for me (and it was my first)

Pretty good prices considering I paid a lot more during tariff times, used the hell out of my A1 though so can't be mad about it.

Might want to alter the title, it makes it sound like a1 combo is 309, however it's the mini.....

I have been looking at a P1S, P1S+AMS2, or the P2S. I can't swing for the combo on the P2S because of budget. Any thoughts? I don't really care as much about multicolor printing, but I want to be able to keep the filament dry as this will be in my basement. Tempting to get all of that for like $40 more than the P2S

Unless you intend to print engineering filaments, ABS and ASA etc. there is no real need for an enclosed printer. If you are a beginner A1 is a very good option. The price seems enticing but these are years old. I would recommend to step up to A2L. I believe those are $569 with AMS. If you care about the enclosure, then only consider X2D. My first Bambu printer was X1C and after a few months I wished it was bigger. If you are open there are other brands out there. Watch videos by Fauxhammer on YouTube. He is pretty blunt when reviewing. If you do not want Bambu, look into anycubic Kobra x or the Kobra S1 Max. Snapmaker U1 is an excellent choice if you want color. DM me I can help you if you have any specific questions. I have been printing for about 10yrs or more. I run a print farm at the moment with a mix of brands for specific purposes.

The x2d seems like the better choice but there are some things that you should consider. The P2S have a simpler quick nozzle swap design. If you plan on changing nozzle size often this would be a plus. Another thing is that if you are using the dual nozzle on the x2d, you will have a smaller print area of 235mm. If these are deal breakers then you may need to go with the p2s.
