The Anker Solix S2000 is shaping up as a compact, lightweight backup power station that stands out for UPS use, low idle drain, and high inverter efficiency. It is praised for its small footprint, portability, and ability to keep a fridge, router, TV, or other critical 120 volt loads running through short outages, with UL 1778 UPS certification and 400 watt solar input. The main tradeoffs are the 1500 watt inverter, no 12 volt socket, and limited solar and output flexibility versus more expandable rivals. It feels best suited to short, practical backup duty rather than a full all purpose power setup.
Common Questions (5)
It can run many 120V appliances, and a microwave is possible if the starting and running draw stay within its limits. The 1500W inverter is a constraint for larger microwaves and air fryers that can pull around 1800-1900W or 1300-1700W, so some units may trip it.
No 12V socket is included, and it also lacks a TT-30/RV-style outlet. That makes it less attractive for RV use or 12V charging compared with models that include those ports.
It supports 400W solar input. That is enough for some backup setups, but it is also described as slower to recharge than higher-input competitors and less appealing if you want faster solar replenishment.
It is positioned well for UPS-style backup use: it is UL 1778 rated, has very low idle drain, and is described as especially good for keeping a fridge and other critical loads running during outages. It is less of an all-purpose station because it lacks the extra solar, AC, DC, and 12V flexibility found on more expandable models.
No. The discount code applies to the similarly named S2000, not the C2000 Gen 2.

...though I assume if that is for RV use you'd constantly be hitting that 13A limit on this unit.

Re: UPS use - from my research it's the best power-station as UPS on the market. Only UL 1778 rated (UPS switch over time) one I've found on the market, smallest footprint for the capacity, lightest weight.
Excluding a few very rare exceptions on older units (Bluetti Apex 300) no power station has AVR however - something that I believe can be easily remedied with a cheap amazon device depending on how often you get brownouts in your area.
