Community Reviews

These zero gravity folding lounge chairs stand out as a comfortable, easygoing outdoor seat for tanning, camping, and stargazing. The overhead shade can flip back for sun on your face, and the cup holder and pillow add to the relaxed feel. They are also described as a great value at this price and a favorite chair for outdoor use. The main drawbacks are fit and durability, since taller users can hit the metal bar or feel cramped, and long term use can bring rust, frayed elastic, or broken seat support.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes. They're described as comfortable, simple, and a good fit for camping, tanning, star gazing, and general outdoor lounging. Several people also use them as their favorite outdoor chairs.

  • They can rust when exposed to rain, including rust forming inside the rails and rusty water draining out later. Keeping them indoors when not in use helps prevent the rust and water mess.

  • They can feel cramped for taller users, and the foot area can hit the metal bar around 6'2" to 6'4". A simple fix is to cut a pool noodle lengthwise and slide it over the bar to soften the contact.

  • Yes. They're described as a pain to open and close, and zero-gravity lounge chairs can also be hard to get out of for some people. The side table must stay off when closing the chair.

  • Yes. The overhead shade can be flipped back when you want sun on your face, which makes it more flexible for lounging.

I bought one a few years back from SD, but I don't recall the seller. I like it because it has the overhead shade part that can be flipped back when you want to get the sun on your face. Smilie

What's the difference between these and the one Costco currently has in store?

Just fyi.. I love these chairs and have had them for a few years.. however, they have started to rust... rain also can get trapped inside the rails, rust them and then come pouring out when you move the chairs to open them days later... ruined many a pair of shorts this way.
I just got these chairs. The same thing that you described happened to another set I got from somewhere else where I spent more money on them. I guess it's just the nature of the way these chairs are built and when they sit outside all the time. On my old pair that were visible screw screws or bolts from the outside. Not on this set so I'm hoping that helps a little bit.

I bought one of these chairs (not this brand) last year and I have such a hard time getting out of it. I never use it. So test one out in store if you can.

Lol I have done this exact thing with these chairs. Also the rope part holding up the seat finally broke the other day. Got a few good years out of them.

Is there a spray I can use to coat the metal to prevent rust from forming?

I believe a coat of corrosion or film lubricant inside of the channels will help.
