Lots of these classics remastered to the point that the singing sound like AI generated. Here is one classic song that got remastered so bad that it's unlistenable.

As for the comments about it being their worst album (other than everything that came after it, I don't agree. Kill Em All as a whole is worse than None More Black. Yes, it has Seek and Destroy, and the Clif Instrumental. But NMB has Sab But True and Nothing Else Matters while a massive change of pase is a ridiculously strong song. The rest of Kill Em all has not aged well like the rest of the classic era.
But yes, the production value also helps the Black Album a whole lot. Where AJFA is hurt by the production value...but is still the pinnacle of a set of songs on an album.

My comment is directed at the Napster angst, in my experience it's always millennials who were teenagers/20 somethings around the time of Napster and irrationally hate Metallica as a result.
...many of them still erroneously repeating the "Metallica sued their own fans!" lie...
