I think I can figure out why this one is on sale. What's the point of a frying pan without a handle? Hexclad is supposed to be pretty fancy though. I have a knockoff T-fal hexclad-like pan and am really happy with it.

This is too large of a skillet to do the "flippy" action usually done with a long handle. I have a large Calphalon skillet like this, and the 2 short handles are perfect.

Probably due to the PFAS chemicals used to achieve non-stick. It can't be sold in (shipped to) CA or MN due to their consumer protection laws prohibiting product with these chemicals.

Hexclad states all their products have lifetime warranty but Woot shows 90 days.
Anyone know which prevails?

Woot's warranty. Hexclad's warranty is only for it's authorized dealers. Woot is not an authorized dealer since it is mainly for amazon overstock, refurbished, customer returns, etc.

That being said, Hexclad's warranty isn't as good as it sounds. The truth is it's just a standard non-stick pan with a raised cast iron grid. All non-stick wears down due to heat alone. Most of their claims about metal utensils and lasting a lifetime are rebuked by their own fine print in the warranty. It basically states they refuse to cover any form of wear from standard use and ONLY cover manufacturer defects. You would absolutely notice a manufacturer defect within the 90 day woot period.

I recently purchased every pot, pan, and cookware from Hexclad, and my wife is in heaven. They are amazing. $99 is a steal for this pan.
