Snow's chopped canned clams are a versatile pantry staple for chowder, linguine, dip, ramen, and other quick seafood dishes, with the clams and juice both getting used. The flavor gets strong praise even straight from the can, and the liquid is often reduced for sauces or folded into soups. The deal math looks solid at the 15 ounce size, and the coupon or Subscribe and Save discount can also apply to larger cans or even the 12 pack. Caveats include inconsistent coupon behavior by account, possible heat damage in transit, and concern that this version may not be labeled no MSG.

Common Questions (5)

  • The coupon can apply beyond the 15-oz listing, including the 51-oz can and the 12-pack of 6.5-oz cans. It also appears to be a Bumblebee/Beach Cliff/Brunswick-style coupon, so the exact eligible item can vary by account and listing.

  • They work well in clam chowder, linguine with clam sauce, seafood ramen, dips, and other quick dishes. The juice is commonly used in the recipe too, especially for sauces, soups, and reductions.

  • The juice is often used in chowder, soups, sauces, or reduced for stronger flavor, but it can taste metallic to some people when drunk straight from the can. If you want the flavor without the metallic note, using it in cooking is the safer bet.

  • Yes, this version is chopped, which matters if you want whole clams or a different texture. For recipes like chowder, pasta, dip, or clam sauce, the chopped format is useful and easy to work with.

  • The 25% discount appears when you select Subscribe & Save at checkout and proceed to the cart; it can show automatically before payment. Some accounts do not see the banner or get the extra 25% off, leaving only the regular S&S savings.

dont see the coupon
i used coupon to buy bumblee tuna on may 7, 2026. since snow's is owned by bumblebee, perhaps my account doesn't qualify for another coupon use. if i log out of my amazon account, the coupon shows up, so the deal's not dead. did you buy some bumblee products recently using a coupon?

well it says on the product page:

Coupon: Save 25%: Coupon available when you select Subscribe & Save . Shop items | Terms

i did try to click subscribe and save, but am not getting any 25% discount, and the "coupon" for 25% off is not even showing up on the product page, like it does if i log out of my account. i think i used a bumblebee coupon to buy some tuna a bit over a month ago, so it disqualifies me from using another coupon so soon.

I can't duplicate it now that I have used it.

What I did was I added the item to the cart, and select the box on the right hand side for S&S, and check out to the page before you pay, and the 25% off showed in the cart. It wasn't anything I had to enter, only selecting the S&S.

yes, you may not have to actually check a box, just check out with s&s, but i do not even see the banner for 25% off on the product page if i am logged into my account. if i am not logged in, or use another amazon account in the household, it shows up as 25% "coupon" on the product page. unfortunately that second acct doesn't have prime, and clams are not enough to reach the $35 threshold for free shipping.

i was going to make some clam pizza with them, but it's fine.

i assure you, i am not doing anything wrong. the "coupon" is not showing up for a few of us. with s&s the order comes out to 3.35 for a 15 oz can. i am getting my 5% off for s&s, but no additional 25% off.

Anyone know if these can be frozen? If so, they'd probably have to be drained first.

What do you clam-heads do with these to eat?
linguine w/ clam sauce. saute garlic/shallots in olive oil, add splash white wine, clams (juice and all), optional some chicken bouillon paste, finish w/ knob of butter. the entire family devours it, including toddlers and little kids.

I'm not - I probably could have spent a few extra words spelling this out. There is a "15 Ounce (Pack of 3)" option, but you can't S&S to it. The coupon only applies to one item. So, I only got $0.89 off the first 15 oz can (3*3.37 - 0.89 + an extra penny of rounding = 9.23). However, the lower price per oz of the 15 oz cans still compares favorably to the coupon price of 6.5 oz cans.

I could theoretically scrounge up one can at a time every time one of these coupons happens to comes along again, but meh. And ... fishing takes diesel.
Got it, thanks for explaining.

I'd happily use this coupon on the 3-pack, but you can only use it on one item. I can't crack open a 51-oz can or store the 12-pack. So, at the 15% tier, the 15-oz cans still look pretty good compared to two 6.5-oz ones:

3x 15oz cans (45oz): $9.23 [$0.205/oz]
6x 6.5oz cans (39oz): $8.89 [$0.228/oz]

This is also a Bumblebee / Beach Cliff / Brunswick coupon, so choose wisely.
Damn, I just did the Bumblebee two days ago. Oh well.

Amazon.com [amazon.com] has Snow's Wild Caught Chopped Clams Canned, 15 oz Can on sale for $2.49 with Subscribe & Save and by clipping the coupon on the product page.

Deal Info:
  • Current price: $2.49
    • Around 55% ($3.04) below my observed 90-day average price of $5.52
  • As of June 12, 2026. Price and availability may change.
I'm shocked at that price. I bought this on sale for $1.69 just two years ago. Same brand and size on Amazon. I just ate my last can today. Since I've already used the coupon on Bumblebee, I guess I won't be having any clams for months.

Ty, just ordered. Does anyone drink the juice?
Yup. Well, not drink it but use it in soups (especially seafood ramen) or as a reduction to make sauces. Regardless, it's never wasted. Heck, I don't even waste the liquid in canned vegetables. I either use it for ramen or rice.
