I have one of these and the harbor freight version. The Harbor Freight version is much higher quality. They're 19.99 right now but go on sale for around $15 pretty often if you're willing to hold out. Just my opinion.

Kobalt was selling these without ball bearing slides and were cheap. They have since upgraded and are better than hf imo now.

Just checked one out in store. The drawer slides are terrible, and the box wasn't square. Pretty much trash in multi colors.

I hate that every time I see this they're down to mismatched colors to buy the set.

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-M...5016039695 can confirm this one definitely has ball bearings quality at least as good as HF. I have two I just picked up. Plus it's the 3 drawer for the sale price of the 2 drawer. It pairs with 6786850 which is the 2 drawer with comparable quality.

Not sure why I got a down vote but ok. I will note that kobalt do not have rubber bumpers on the base or drawer liners. But otherwise the quality is pretty good. I also have several of the Harbor Freight versions too if that means anything. I wouldn't mind sticking with a Harbor Freight if they had the base but they don't. edit; one other difference I found is that the top of the kobalt two drawer flops 180° while the Harbor Freight version only goes 90°. 90° is better.

These are popular as masculine jewelry boxes. My kids got me one for xmas. I keep my wallet and EDC stuff in one drawer, the top I have some colognes and my daily wear jewelry (a ring, necklace and bracelet) and the other drawer the other stuff I don't wear all the time.

I like it and I grunted like Tim the Tool Man Taylor when they gave it to me.

They still don't include the rubber liners on both drawers like HF does.

Second this. I bought two 2-drawer versions for $10 each, and both of them have issues with the top drawers. The bottom drawers work well, though.

Be careful, it seems there are two different types. One is friction drawer and the other is ball bearing.

Friction link: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-1...5015171619

Ball bearing link:https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-M...5016039667

The white 3 drawer ball bearing version is $17 btw
