I have personally seen these 110V-120V FCAW boxes used outside of the US for welding everything from shipping container trailers, boat trailers, office building steel roofs, and ornamental burglar-proofing.
Imagine a guy in a pair of rubber slippers and a T-shirt laying dimes like he was counting money.

Outdated zoomerspeak and tired internet colloquialisms aside, what he said is correct. There are uses for these extreme budget welders, but it's important to know their limitations. They're great for gluing 2 pieces of non-structural, thin metal together in a spot where you only have a 110v connection. They are not great for automotive repair outside of tacking a bracket or spring hanger in place while you test fit.
