This organic miso paste stands out for its low promo price and flexible coupon use, with orders landing around $3.19 and even lower on multiple quantities. The paste itself gets praised as tasty, and the ingredient-count confusion is clarified by the fifth pictured item being the paste, not an extra ingredient. The main concern is origin, since the listing lacks a country of origin while customer photos show Product of China, which makes the Japanese branding feel misleading. It is a budget miso option, but the sourcing detail is worth checking first.
Common Questions (4)
The promo can apply to some varieties and quantities but not others. It worked for reduced sodium and for multiple quantities, while red miso triggered "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase" for some carts.
The packaging and customer photos indicate it is a product of China, despite the listing using "Authentic Japanese miso." The country of origin is not clearly listed on the page, which is why some shoppers treat it cautiously.
One successful order came to $3.19 total before tax with Subscribe & Save and the promotion applied, with free shipping. Another shopper reported getting it for $2.79, so the final price can vary by variant and cart setup.
The listing says it is made with only 4 ingredients, while the photo appears to show 5 items. The extra item is the miso paste itself, not an additional ingredient.
