Bought the 2 drill deal and the batteries wouldn't charge because they 5 years old and from what porter told me that's what happens when they haven't been charged for a long time.

The corded angle grinder, recip saw, and hammer drill are very tempting. Cheap throw around tools that you wouldn't mind your friends borrow.
Looks like they're all available for delivery in my area. Delivery comes out to $15 for all three tools.
They were great as a basic homeowner set. Installed many things in/around the house + the cars. Never had an issue.
Now... when I use my father's tools (DeWalt Brushless) I can absolutely tell the difference in quality and torque output etc.... but for something I use maybe 3-4 times a year... great investment.
