Bought the 2 drill deal and the batteries wouldn't charge because they 5 years old and from what porter told me that's what happens when they haven't been charged for a long time.
BUT, I did a search and found a way to jump start them to get them to charge and it works. Here are the instructions, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SOe...p=2AFgkAIB

Porter Cable at Tractor Supply looks like a cheap way to pick up basic cordless and corded tools for home use, especially drills, impacts, saws, grinders, and even the corded angle grinder and recip saw. The tools are described as solid for occasional projects, and the batteries can be adapted to Black and Decker or Ridgid setups with a little modification or an adapter. Availability is the big catch, with many items showing out of stock or clearance status, and some batteries arriving too old to charge normally. It works best if you already have compatible batteries or can find local stock.
Porter-Cable brushed homeowner sets can work well for infrequent home projects like drilling and fastening a few times per year.
Corded Porter-Cable tools let you avoid committing to a battery ecosystem that may be phasing out.
Porter-Cable 20V batteries can be compatible with Black and Decker 20V packs after shaving a small plastic notch.
A battery adapter approach can help users keep using existing B&D or Porter-Cable 20V Max batteries with other tool platforms.
Porter-Cable tools can be unavailable for shipping through the TS app even after trying multiple zip codes.
Porter-Cable inventory can be cleared out in stores, with shelf space shifting toward Skil displays and locked cages.
Porter-Cable battery packs can fail to charge after long storage, requiring jump-start workarounds or warranty replacements.
Porter-Cable battery compatibility may require modification, which can be a barrier for users who want a plug-and-play battery system.

The corded angle grinder, recip saw, and hammer drill are very tempting. Cheap throw around tools that you wouldn't mind your friends borrow.
Looks like they're all available for delivery in my area. Delivery comes out to $15 for all three tools.
They were great as a basic homeowner set. Installed many things in/around the house + the cars. Never had an issue.
Now... when I use my father's tools (DeWalt Brushless) I can absolutely tell the difference in quality and torque output etc.... but for something I use maybe 3-4 times a year... great investment.
