Gets back its original release price back in 2024, before all the tariff-driven and oil-war inflation kicked in.

The Speedwoofer 10e comes across as a strong value ported sub for small offices, 2.1 desktop setups, and modest home theater rooms, with enough output to pair well with bookshelf speakers and even support a second sub later. It is praised for punchy, weighty bass, good music performance, and a wider, smoother response than some sealed rivals, while RSL's customer service and resale value add to the appeal. The main tradeoffs are its large footprint for a 10 inch driver, limited deep bass below about 26 hertz, and no Bluetooth. A solid fit when space and ultra low bass are not the priority.
Common Questions (5)
Dual subs are often preferred because they smooth bass across the room, reduce peaks and nulls, and make bass less localized. Several comments also note that two 10e subs can be a better value than one pricier SVS sub.
Yes. It pairs well with bookshelf speakers in a small office or vinyl setup, and it can sound incredible at modest gain. It is also described as a strong fit for a dedicated 2.1 desktop system or smaller living room.
It is a ported sub, so it has more output and a weightier bass character for home theater and movies. For music, it is described as tighter, faster, and more accurate than expected, though sealed subs are still preferred by some for music-focused listening.
It is large for a 10-inch subwoofer, with a footprint that can be hard to hide and may need about 15 inches or more of clearance in each direction. Compared with the SVS SB1000 Pro, it is slightly larger in all dimensions.
Yes. Wireless capability can be added with RSL's wireless audio kit for the Speedwoofer 12s/10e.

This might be worth skimming through...I'd start at the most recent page (176) and go backwards, rather than from Page 1 which dates back to 2011.
2" shorter, 2" narrower, 2" larger driver.
Then there's sound quality, features, bass extension, etc.. but that's a different thread.
Heck, even SVS agrees with you: 😁

Dual subs improve imaging? Poppycock LOL. Dual subs are the way to go though, way easier to make the whole room the sweet spot with bass that seems to emanate from everywhere- the hard to localize part is definitely true.
Bottom line is that a lousy 2" difference in H and W is irrelevant. Stop pretending that these RSL 10" subs are some big huge monsters.

Main virtue of dual subs is, as you said, more even bass throughout the room. And a small increase in output.
I like when the Slickdeals community helps each other out with information that might matter. Especially from people who have owned the product. Maybe you don't. Your choice to take it personally is weird, but now I see you're the one who posted this sale price.
Anyway, faster response without boominess from ports aiming at back walls is not a limitation. There's a reason SVS makes sealed and ported versions of the same models. 👍

I have a 20'x20' room and adding the second sub changed everything. It's no longer localized. I can't close my eyes and hear exactly where it's coming from anymore. The room is filled with bass and there is no "sweet spot".

Driver size is ONE of several variables in subwoofer shopping. Not the ONLY one.
Yes it is. RSL subs (like Hsu subs) have always been praised for both movie AND music sound quality. Can't say the same for SVS subs, though SVS has an exponentially more aggressive marketing campaign, sending out free "test samples" to reviewers who invariably gush about them. Such is how the game is played, and SVS are masters of the game, gotta give them that.
But to me there is a HUGE difference between a 10" and a 12". And it comes down to user preference. I find the bigger the SUB the sloppier the bass but I like that! I find a 10" just does not hit hard enough for me.

This is equivalent to the volume of a 15 x 15 x 4" cushion. Your erroneous number would've produced a 15 x 15 x 5" cushion.
C'mon, give us a break man. You are really bending over backwards to fabricate disqualifying factors for this sub, aren't you?
Secondly, a "10" sub like this unlikely to cause any "boominess" unless you are silly enough to push it flush up against a wall. It's not some gargantuan task to move a sub of ANY size a few inches this way or that way to minimize any undesirable room boundary interactions. Anybody with a shred of common sense is capable of doing that.
If I appear to be "taking this personally" it's only because this site is infested with SVS shills. (One of whom pops up like clockwork in EVERY SINGLE speaker/sub thread of non-SVS products, to also cast doubt or denigrate the product.)
