Damn I'm tempted to order this, but I've been waiting for the Klipsch RP-1400SW to go back down to $700

Good luck! That's a hard deal to pass up, if it recurs.

Thinking about selling the SB3000 to fund 2 of these for the living room tbh.
If you're unhappy, you can easily sell it for the price of two of these quickly.
Sold my two for $750 each, in a day with much interest.

Keep in mind these won't go/hit as low as the sb3000 but will give you a wider, smoother of it's response/performance.
Going deeper isn't always better, these are a perfect example.

Ok, then you'd be happy with either the 10e or the SB1000 Pro. Just a question of whether you want to pay $300 or $600.
Is there any other comparison, in terms of features or only price? I apologize for bothering you.

Would this be good in a 16x16 room for TV/sports/movies? Maybe projector. Still few months out but of deal is good will grab it.

Tempted. Already have a 12" which slaps. Might be cool to hide this behind my couch.
These are huge for only a 10" driver. Not easy to hide. Like 15"+ in each direction.

Other than the fact that this doesn't have Bluetooth, i like it a lot more than my SVS SB3000
For home theater, I assume?

If for music, this doesn't sound anywhere as good as a sealed SVS. I say that because I had both. Returned the RSL.

My primary use is listening to music, and the room is small, not an open plan.
Then get sealed. Better for music.
If you can pull it, the SVS is a lot better than this. Being ported, this is better for movies than music, but after owning both I'd still rather have SVS sealed even for that, over these. Plus, the SB-1000 Pros have bigger drivers in a much smaller cabinet. Not to mention you tune them from your chair, have presets, etc. No getting up and down and up and down. Got both my SB-1000 Pros for under $450 each, open-box from Gramaphone via Amazon. Full warranty, etc. One came new, the other I can't tell for sure if it had been opened.

$340 vs $1200 doesnt make it a fair fight esp since the Sb3000 has room correction.

I'm not comparing the models, I'm comparing the design. Ported vs sealed, for starters.

I agree it's not a fair fight, so him saying the $300 10e is better than the $1200 SB-3000 just sounded funny.

If you have the space, and it's for home theater...these are fine for a $300 sub... but they're a $300 sub.

Well, that's kind of a misnomer, sealed can definitely work very well for HT content.
Especially considering most movies are primarily dialog & music sound.

The best place for you to directly post and ask for comparisons as well as access to CEA measurements is here: https://www.avsforum.com/forums/s...ucers.113/

There are real subwoofer maniacs there who change out their subs like socks and are constantly looking at upgrade paths, who have tons of direct experience across different brands and models. Sales shills are easily weeded out, unlike here.

I will say that SVS offers two clear advantages nobody else in the industry does: "free" return shipping, and a very handy smartphone app. (I put quotes around "free" because it's clearly built into their pricing structure, so you pay for it whether you actually use it or not.) Oh, and they are the last major company to offer a CYLINDER sub form factor, since Hsu dropped theirs couple years ago...if you want the smallest horizontal footprint.

Actually the SVS RC is for the Revolution Series only.
It does work very well & especially good if you don't have it on your AVRs RC(ie Dirac Live).
