Nevertheless, FWIW, the Wrangler shorts I got from Walmart awhile back seem like they're made for people with skinny little legs who wrap their belts around their giant beer bellies.
I do appreciate that the material doesn't seem to fall apart into strings like shorts used to. But I also don't work in them, so I can't really test that. They seem to come with a random configuration of utility pockets - the zippers are garbage on the ones with a single side-opening zipper pocket on the left side, and the horizontal velcro pocket works so much better.
