These Instant Pot pressure cookers are must have and run pretty much life time...they do crap out occasionally but are so easy to fix...my original 6 QT one that I bought back in 2016 is still doing it's job pretty well...I had to change the silicone sealing gasket last year as the original one developed a cut and was leaking pressure. Few weeks ago, it stopped heating and turns out it is one of the most common problems with all Instant Pots where the soldering joint gets burned out over a period of time and all it needs is a new bead on the top to keep the connectivity re-established; I did that and it's working like a champ all over again. I never did any soldering job before that in my life.
