I have this. I bought it when it was $539.
Personally, I wouldn't buy it again. It has almost no adjustment and zero monitoring function via the app. The app only connects via Bluetooth and you have to stand next to it to connect.
You also can't charge to 80% to protect the battery. It's set at 100%, permanently.
Out of the 8 battery stations I have, this is the only one already gave me an error code that I had to unplug and reset everything to get it back to work.
So since this is a lifepo4 batter, the 80% rule doesn't necessarily apply
It's for the regular lithium ion battery packs. So there are different ways to

So then what's better for $500 and has a real warranty? I have had this one, multiple Ecoflow's that failed, and multiple Bluetti's. True this one only has Bluetooth connectivity and I just pull the plug when charging to around 80% it's really not a big deal. No power station I have owed and I have had like 7 let me change the max charge percentage.
Personally I would rather have the Anker S2000 for 100 more, more useable kwh because of inverter efficiency, and 35 lbs vs like 55 for the same capacity. Just depends on whether you care about the difference in max draw and the like.
But yeah this isn't a bad deal, idk much about the Segway brand ones though.

The worst storage condition for a LiFePO4 is a hot garage.
If you're not keeping them at a reasonable ambient temperature, I wouldn't even begin to start worrying about constant voltage by keeping them at 100%.
Also, if you're using these as a backup power source, it only stands to reason that you'd want to utilize 100% of it in an emergency.
What's worse: Having to replace these a year sooner or having 20% less power when you critically need it?

Anker S2000 is only 1500 watts this has 2200 continuous.

You actually should be charging LiFePO4 batteries to 100% to ensure proper cell balancing. Not only can you go to 100% because they aren't like lithium-ion, you SHOULD, so this isn't a valid concern.
But even with lifepo4 storing them at 100% or completely discharged isn't exactly good for the battery if you want durability. It's better than with lithium ion or lipo batteries but they are not immune to bad storage conditions. I store mine at 80%, which makes them mostly ready to use.

That idea is stuck in people's heads still because of the limitations of other batetry technologies, which do not apply here.

Cell balancing is a carry over from NiCad, NiMh, LiPoly, and very early (like early 2000s) Li-ion batteries when memory effect was also an issue.
The most basic BMS these days will handle balancing using a number of different techniques.
And since LiFePO4 doesn't suffer from the memory effect while being a much more robust chemistry, balancing is really just the difference of whether a cell gets charged this cycle or the next.
We're getting so many more charge cycles out of LiFePO4 batteries that even partial charging for a couple extra minutes of run time isn't really the death sentence it used to be.
I just bought one at 329 because I wanted to use it as a ups , it took a a crap after 1 month, it only charges through the solar anderson plug. I rig a step up converter 12v to 48v and added a fan to cool down the converter. So by break it forced me to make it even better , now I use my 280ah batteries as expansion packs and charges at 645w-350- because as converter heats up it lowers wattage. Long story short dont leave it plug in to out let .

You can monitor power going in and out and it also gives you state of battery, you just have to click away at all the icons .
