I have the Go Powersports version of this, actually two. A ton of fun if you are mechanically inclined. This is the low price version, IMO the model above it is a better value as it has dual disk brakes and a CVT. A single brake is a safety issue. The single speed centrifugal clutch is only good for very flat areas, not for off road. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc...ibike-b200
For the conditions this is made for, it is much more capable than a similarly priced "ebike" and when camped at a trailhead is much easier and quicker to refill the tank than to recharge a battery.

Dang! Look how many 1-star reviews! Probably best to a avoid.
To your comment, treat the bike like a new car purchase. Look it over at the store for scratches or any indication it had been sold, used and returned and resold.
Other comments where help was needed were all replied to by Coleman directly with an email or phone # to contact them, so I don't think they hang you out to dry after.
Not sure what the warranty period or return policy is on this, but like any other $600 purchase, do your due diligence, on the page there's an extended warranty available too. Pay with a credit card that offers purchase protection if you have one. But the people who did give 5 stars had really great things to say about the bike.

Why would someone choose this over a similarly priced ebike?

I've had this exact bike for a couple of years. It's really fun and can hold a big guy no problem. You can upgrade to a predator motor and easily get it to 45 mph.
I have the previous model of this bike and it's great. Watch a couple Youtube videos and spend a few bucks on upgrades to make it go way faster. Parts are dirt cheap and it'll rip around the woods.

They're just a completely different experience. Fat tires at a loud engine.
