just bought and mounted this. setup was easy for the wall mount portion with the template but my Sony tv had recessed holes for the tv hook brackets and the supplied screws with this did not fit; it has 4 sets of screws for various options/sizes and none of them fit. I randomly had other screws around that managed to fit after an hour of frustration.

That's odd, most tvs are universal with thread pitch. Were they too small or too large?
