Apple does not sell this configuration anymore. The base 14" MacBook Pro M5 is priced $1700 and comes with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

Yeah 16gb is fine formost ppl, the fast swap makes up for any overuse for casual use. 256/24gb is brutal for heavy workloads bc OSX eats up so much storage now. It's just in general hungry and they need to pare it back
