Ito En Oi Ocha is a bottled unsweetened green tea that stands out for its clean, familiar Japanese tea flavor and convenience. The taste is described as good for what it is, and the brand is widely seen in Japan vending machines, which fits its everyday-drink appeal. The main drawbacks are the heavy plastic packaging and tea bags that are not biodegradable or compostable, with concerns about nylon bags and microplastics. The flavor also takes some getting used to for those expecting a sweeter or milder tea, making it a practical pick if the taste profile already suits you.
Drinkers who want a familiar bottled Japanese green tea, because it is widely sold in vending machines and has a flavor that grows on you.
Tea drinkers who prefer a ready-to-drink bottle, because it delivers green tea without brewing.
People who already like unsweetened green tea, because the flavor is good for what it is.
Home drinkers avoiding plastic waste, because the bottle and tea bags add a lot of plastic and are not biodegradable or compostable.
Shoppers sensitive to tea flavor, because it can taste like dirty tap water or a wet paper bag.
People trying to avoid microplastics, because the nylon tea bags can release them in hot water.

An economic option: Costco sells Kirkland Green Tea that is made by Ito En.
Add a bag to 8oz of water for the same tea at a fraction of the cost
It's usually ~$12 for 100 packets.
