There are many options, including ratcheting ones, for getting to hard to reach screws in moderately tight locations. But nothing beats these extremely low profile ones for those rare situations where nothing else will fit. For me, it was a throttle position sensor mounted close to the firewall on my pickup. The book rate called for two hours of labor and involved removing the intake assembly to access those screws, but these were able to squeeze in there and turn it into a 10 minute job.
