Only you can really answer that - how often have you used a caulk gun and was it that difficult to pull the lever every once in a while?

Replace any subfloor or bathroom stuff and you'll be glad you have it. Let's be honest here though it's a fun tool to use. Waste a tube laughing about how fast you can get it to come out. Once it's dialed in it's like the slide of the wrapping paper feeling.

I used this for windshield adhesive when I rebuilt my CJ-7 and I'd pay brand new price for it again just not to have to push that thick stuff out by hand.
