As a pro, please do yourself a favor and buy from a reputable brand. These are total crap and have zero resale value. You want Yamaha, Kawai, Roland, Korg, etc.

Why would one care about resale value? As a pro, you should know that an instruments real value is in its ability to replicate sounds that it's designed to. If it's low cost and sounds good, who cares about the resale value?

There's a lot more to a piano than ability to replicate sounds. Tactile feel, reliability, build quality, etc. Resale value is a great indicator to consider. A Kia might look like a better value than a Toyota to a new car buyer, but comparing the resale value is telling of factors not obvious on paper.

We were just recently shopping around for a keyboard/piano for our sons. I was mostly looking around at Yamaha, Roland, and Kurzweil. All the other brands, I pretty much ignored including Artesia. The price of Artesia products was attractive, but we wanted an established brand that meant the piano was easily serviceable if we ever had issues. We ended up with a Yamaha.

I am not a pro; merely a parent with basic music skills and some appreciation to music, who wants their child to... you know.
I did my research.
This brand are what ChatGPT has described as "furniture-first" piano Big Grin

. I care less for the resale value; you buy instruments to use them. And here is where the truth is: this is not a musical instrument. A decoration for your home.

Ever solved a math problem where your solution was completely wrong yet you got the right answer? This is what we see here. The answer (don't buy it) is right if you care about the student's progression and learning as a learning musician, and not hitting the "ceiling" and limitations of the instrument within a short period of time. This is my use case, which I researched well. Another use case (which I did not research that well) is the instrument replicating sounds and sounding well, and for some people it is a valid use case, too. From what I heard, this instrument is far from good on this front as well. Given its cost... the choice is clear. I have listed the use case it is good at in my previous post.
