for 25$ though I buy them again and use it for the gym.
Community Reviews
CMF Buds 2 come across as a strong budget pick for sound, comfort, and everyday use, especially at about $24.50. The tuning gets praise for Dirac audio and Ultra Bass, the case and fit feel solid, and battery life is repeatedly called out as good. ANC is useful for lawn work, walking, and light traffic, and the app adds useful customization, including dual device pairing. The main limits are microphone consistency and noise blocking in louder places like gyms, trains, or Zoom calls. A practical value choice if you want inexpensive earbuds with punchy sound.
The earbuds deliver punchy bass with Dirac tuning and Ultra Bass features.
The noise cancelling can drown out much of lawn-gear noise during outdoor work.
The app supports customization and lets users control volume and music directly.
The earbuds can pair with two devices through the app for easier switching.
The microphone can struggle in noisy environments like gyms, making speech hard to understand.
The ANC is limited and may not block loud music or heavy gym environments effectively.
The charging case can stop charging, and replacement cases may also fail.
The left earbud can develop muffled sound after months of minimal use.

For the money they are great. Nice case, strong magnets, button for setting into pairing mode. The dial wheel is a headfake, it does nothing. They fit my ears well with the larger earbuds. NC works fairly well, not great, but well. You know it is on cause you get a thump when it enters NC mode. The app allows for a fair amount of customization. They can pair with two devices (but you have to set that mode in the app). Sound is good, not great, but quite listenable. Sound quality on a call is digital but ok. Very happy for the price.
The Anker Soundcore P31i is the better choice for frequent airplane rides. It provides superior overall noise cancellation for low-frequency jet engines, longer single-charge battery life, and superior mic quality for layover calls. The CMF Buds 2 have punchier bass, but fall short on isolation and battery endurance.
In the meantime, $24 for a set that might only last a year is what I'll go with. My ear 1's are really comfortable and I really like the sound, so hopefully these are similar.
