That is at the store you went to. I had a store tell me that then went to another store and bought as much as I wanted with a credit card. I talked to the manager at the first store and she said her store had a lot of fraud, so they did that.

My local store accepts cards but caps you at $500. When they were doing 15% last year the manager came out and had a fuss when I bought three 500 dollar cards each on a different credit card.

If you or an immediate family member is active duty or a veteran you can also get 10% off checkout at Lowes. Combine 10% off a giftcard, 10% off your purchase with the military discount and whatever sort of cash back you get with a credit card and it's not too shabby, but I sure do wish this was 15% off.

How do you get the 10% off if immediate family member is a veteran? I tried through that Id.me and it said only spouses.

My sibling told me it was immediate family, but maybe they were wrong. They already had an account so I just put their phone number in at checkout in store. I assume to use it online you would just need them to sign up and then use their account to order.

They do take card as well. Depends on the store.

I haven't had an issue using a credit card at my local store.

The 10% off is a no-brainer if you're buying stuff at Lowes anyway. Sure, 15% or 20% would be nicer, but I'll take what I can get.

Removing bad info from my reply. Seems the local cashier I spoke with misinterpreted the upcoming ad.

Checked my local ad and it seems 15% starts Sunday
Was this something you received in the mail or signed up for to get the ad emailed to you in advance? I can't figure out how to view a weekly ad beyond the current on their website.
