I got one of these years ago. Very nice garage stool. Keep in mind it doesn't go down super low so don't expect to comfortably clean your wheels/tires while sitting in it.

Thanks for the information as that was probably one of the tasks I was thinking about.

I straight busted my ass and almost cracked my head open on the HF one. It was recalled.

I have this and would recommend. I think it's a fair price given the quality.

The more I thought about it, even if it's not short enough for me to get to the tires, it will at least make sure I'm not bent over for detailing the rest of the car, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger.

I have to admit the only thing I don't like about that is the wire shelf. I have a tendency to want to put sockets and maybe smaller nuts and bolts there and I would prefer a solid shelf. Just my two cents. Otherwise, looks like a deal.

If you're not needing the black and yellow color scheme, Menards has a similar one that is fully welded with a range of 23-1/4" to 29-3/4" for $89 after rebate.

Another option is Northern Tool. It looks just like the Menards one and is $110, but if you can find a common $20 off coupon, would bring it down to $90.

This is the second time I've seen someone say this (or it might just be you on another thread) but reducing DeWalt (or any brand) to just a "color scheme" can be deceptive and have some readers interpret that those items have the exact same quality when that may very well not be the case.

In what way do you believe the Dewalt stool is higher quality than the Jegs, Masterforce, or Northern options that have been suggested as alternatives?
