I'm in the market for a deal and this certainly looks like one. Just feel like I personally need wifi or Bluetooth. I walk away too frequently with kids and other distractions

For $499, the Pit Boss Navigator 1000 is the better deal. You get a larger grill, bigger hopper, and more features for the same or less money. Comparable Pit Boss models have historically offered larger cooking areas, larger hoppers, and longer warranties than similarly sized Traeger Pro models.

I'd personally get this pit boss. The navigator has shelves and Pit Boss quality is great and iirc comes with a 5 year warranty.

Thanks. I noticed. Reviews seem a bit hit or miss and think I'll hold out for one with wifi

Pit boss grills work great, however the electronic screens are known to go out or get fault. Love mine but my screen went out as well

Anybody have a comparison between this Pit Boss and a Recteq? I'm looking at the Recteq Deck Boss 900 and which goes on sale for $850 (regularly $1000). Thanks in advance

I have a reqtec and absolutely love it. It has WiFi and Bluetooth. I can set the temp and know it will stay there. If I need to change it for any reason, I just use the app from wherever I am at. If I want it to cook by internal meat temperature, I just use the temperature probes and tell it the type of meat and how well I want it. It does everything else for me.

I went from Pitboss to Recteq last year. Quality is way better on the Recteq. Built like tank, last a long time . Control and app our way better. Never has messed up a cook. Worth the extra money in my opinion.
