Yes. Several times, though often for short durations. I've been waiting for it to drop to those levels again. If you don't need it installed it was $1500 in my store a few days ago.

the image quality in store was surprisingly good with very good viewing angels to my surprise. However. agree that may be a bit much for a q6.

I really regret not getting this when it was 1299 but the logistics put me off. The new version is out now they changed the last letter to L for this year's models
