Completely disagree, respectfully.

This set includes a bag, driver, wood, hybrid, irons and putter, all for $400.

A cheap bag will cost you $80+

A cheap driver will cost you $150

A cheap putter will cost you $70+.

You're already at $300, still don't have irons, woods and hybrid...and you've never played golf. Now you learn how to play and you find your swing and you still need to buy new clubs for your real swing.

These sets are amazing for a new golfer. Play the set for a few years while learning to play and then get fitted and get yourself a proper set.

Again, my opinion. And one I give to people looking to start playing.

Also, Rick Shiels did a video playing with this set. He said he thought they were great for the price.

I owned this set and played them for around six months. Great set for a beginner, someone who doesn't know if they want to get into golf, or, simply someone who doesn't play often. Irons are really forgiving but a little heavy. Driver is a little small compared to your top brand competition, but big enough to learn how to swing. Overall, as any one of the three types of player you are listed above, I'd give this a 10/10.

I have been using this set for about a 1 year. They are not bad. Im definitely looking to upgrade the putter and the driver. The irons work fine. I think it depends on how much you plan to golf and your skill level. Im not the best but I enjoy being able to be outside on the course with buddies.

Everything included in this set is what is essential for somebody to get started with golf. It's ridiculous to suggest that somebody will "outgrow" clubs like these in a matter of a few months when it will take a lot longer than that to properly develop your game.

I have this set. Got it for a gift for $500. I told my wife to specifically get this set because I was new to golf. I told myself when I'm ready, I'll build a set. One year in and the set is serving me well. All the irons are solid. My particular favorites are the six, seven and pitching wedge. The driver isn't bad, but not as forgiving. I end up purchasing a separate driver from a company called 69. I still suck on both. The putter is basic and I upgraded to a better one with a thicker grip. But I would definitely say this is a good starter set. You definitely won't outgrow this in a couple of months like someone else mentioned. Anyone who plays golf will understand that you're not going to get good in 2 months.

As someone who had his PGA card, lives on a golf course, have tried hundreds of sets of golf clubs, and golfs nearly daily. This guy is wrong. Anyone who is interested in learning the game or wanting a cohesive set, this is a fantastic option. 99% of players cannot outplay their equipment.

Buy these, get fitted and do a regrip, and spend the extra money on lessons. I could pick these up and be just as happy as playing with my 3k bag of clubs. I won a state title using a premade set minus the putter.

But the Qi4D driver is better, therefore, I would be better with it. I must get it or I'll end up on the other fairway.

I would always chuckle at golfers who show up to lessons with a 3 thousand dollar set of clubs wearing tennis shoes, no glove, and unable to even grip the clubs properly.

Best lesson I gave was to 16 year old still using youth clubs that had been reshafted. Scratch golfer using 8 year old kids clubs. We ended up making him a set and getting him into a league. Wonder to this day what he is doing. With a bit more financial support he could have been a pro/tour.
