Its important to note that these do not charge while using them to run a 240v appliance, but will charge for 120v use.

Massive deal breaker for me.

Maybe try adding it manually https://www.ankersolix.com/produc...art_pop_up

There are several differences, it really depends on your use case which unit is the best choice for you. For my situation, I wanted the 50 amp NEMA outlet for direct RV connection so I went with the F3800. For someone with a 30 amp NEMA RV, the F3800 Plus would be the better choice as it has that outlet and you would get the faster charging, etc. If you want it to direct charge an EV auto, the F3800 Plus has the appropriate connection. There are several comparison explanations out there.
This is not a bad price, but I'd be curious if Amazon Prime Day would have better prices. I found the Memorial Day sales were better on Amazon than direct from Anker. While warranty still applies for purchase at Amazon, the F3800s were non-returnable.

I hope your joking, but if not you'll need inverter with 240v output and at least 12kw and much higher surge rating to handle the LRA amperage for starting the AC.

This has 12kw output but it will probably overload when your AC starts unless you have a soft start like Micro-Air Easy Start.

I was joking. But I am curious on what people do with these and how long do they last.

We are prone to hurricanes but don't see how this would pay off sitting there 99.9% of the time unused. Pretty pricey.

With some portable/window AC units, and some extra batteries, you could run just about everything else in your house on this, just not all at once. The only benefit I see with this over a permanent inverter and larger battery is portability and not needing a permit to use/install it.
