For the money sure why not. Don't expect it to be as stable as a bigger board.
Sprung for rechargable air pump. Very happy that I did. You really do want to get psi to 12, and doing so with hand pump would be a barrier for me.

Key is to get a pump that can do both low pressure and high pressure, then auto shut off when desired psi is reached.
