I bought this one and the disk-man (knockoff). Disk man is totally worth it, reliable, responsive. This one arrived dead, but I discovered a simple mechanical fix and got it to life. It's more of a novelty. Might be good for books on tape. It's clunky plastic, low quality sounds. Decent for the beach. For 11 a nice novelty gift . Go with the diskman that's been on sale.
