There is a high probability that at least the non-exellent open box units are store display units. Seems like that is what best buy does when they remove them from store display. I just noticed they have replaced these with the gen 11 amd models in stores so timing matches. I got a dell xps in the same scenario just yesterday and it was on 24/7 for 7 months sold as open-box good.
