The downside to this is it uses ink, not toner. Inkjet have to dispense ink regularly to keep it from clogging the nozzles. The ink reservoirs are small. They only seem cheaper than laser toners until you calculate the per page price.

One person would be hard....lets try multiple organization(s). FYI, this was like 5 entire seconds of googling.

https://publichealth.hsc.wvu.edu/...-new-study
https://respiratory-therapy.com/d...arm-lungs/
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/arti...MC4749083/

FWIW, I don't personally think it is a big deal...but plenty of people do. Unless you claim there is no one worried about (possibly overblown) health concerns in 2026???? Seriously, is that the hill you are planning to die on? LOL, this is SD, there are people crying about calories in double chocolate cream stuffed protein "snack bar" threads and when they aren't complaining about calories then they are whining about the carcinogens in artificial sweeteners to offset the calories.

I'm not claiming it personally but it isn't a new concept nor did I pull it out of thin air. Also not hearing about something does not make it untrue. See the 4 links I posted to someone else if you are really interested.

P.S. I repeat....this is NOT my concern, but a concern some people have. I am also NOT attempting to legitimizes the concern or make the case. I am stating it may be a factor in the decision making processes of some people.

*The absurd lines in the sand some people will draw. I'm just saying that a $100 AIO printer with duplex (inkjet or toner) is a decent deal and I offered a few hypotheticals to why someone might like inkjet...color printing and lack of toner. Hardly a controversial take LMAO2

How is this printer? Does it need subscription? If not, how expensive is the toner?

Inkjet or not it's a name brand wireless AIO with duplex print AND scan. Pretty hard to find in the $100 range. Especially new. Not to mention capable of printing in color...which toner can't do. Color is important to some and there are others who think toner is dangerous to keep in your house. I'm personally not in either camp, but still acknowledge they exist.

I have the Epson WF-4833 model. Virtually the exact same model, the -4833 was sold thru WalMart. Have had this printer for 5+ yrs. Very satisfied. Indeed the print cartridges are exclusive to Epson. I tried a couple of generics, but they just do not work. I use all functions - print, scan, fax and copy. All do a very good job. I paid $200+ for my printer. I am considering ordering another just to have it on hand for when my model bites the dust. Same cartridges. Excellent price at $99.

This is literally the very first time I've ever heard anyone mentioned toners and dangerous in the same sentence
