It's the China version and will come preactivated. So if you ever need to factory reset it will it be a brick?

I've factory reset the one I received a week ago and did not encounter an issue. I didn't even know about the registration part. Needed to Google to be able to switch the language to English. Seems to have been activated just before shipping if that's the warranty start date.
