IF you don't mind watching it on Spanish and don't get Telemundo in your home, then next "cheapest" would be to sign up for Instacart+ trial, then use Mastercard to extend the Instacart+ trial by 2 months, Instacart+ comes with Peacock premium subscription which will have Spanish streaming of World Cup.
Walmart+ membership also comes with Peacock Premium though if you don't already have the membership then it probably isn't worth it over getting the Fox one subscription.
For English, I think best price is Sling TV Select at around $16.50/mo if you get 3 months sub. Monthly sub isn't any cheaper than Fox One BUT you do get other channels.
I just added it for myself.

Another option for Target Circle shoppers: I noticed on varieties of Orville microwave Popcorn, it showed an offer of "Buy select items with Target Circle acoount and get 1 free month of AppleTV." https://www.target.com/p/orville-...A-87802042
So I just bought a box of Redenbachers popcorn in store and by the time I got home, I had an email from Target with a link to a free month of AppleTV.
The code in the link is valid until February 2027.
I couldn't find the list of all the other "Qualifying items" at Target but a $5 box of microwave popcorn works for me.
I prefer to watch directly through the AppleTV App than having to navigate through Prime.

HBO is showing a deal for me on Prime: Subscribe to HBO Max for $10.99/month
When I last did HBO thru Prime, there were lots of HBO shows not included. I don't know if they would have been included if we went direct to HBO without Amazon. For example, Disney can rotate shows in and out of their service. I don't know if HBO does the same.
