Warning - Inkjets are the worst printers for those who print only occasionally. The catridges will dry up in between use, thus requiring new cartridges. I purchased this printer and tossed it in the trash after having to buy a third set of catridges within a year and max 12 pages total printed.

Agreed. I bought a laser printer 6 years ago and have yet to change the cartridge.

Why does a printer need AI? Is it so they can argue with you that a half full cartridge needs to be replaced?
