This LISEN car charger stands out as a compact travel backup with fast phone charging and a coiled USB C cable for tidier console use. Daily use for almost a year was reported to work well, and the 36 inch version had a working promo code. The main caveats are confusing coupon behavior and conflicting power claims, with photos and comments pointing to 45W or even 30W rather than the advertised 65W. USB A also drew criticism, and a similar LISEN charger had USB C fail after a week, so it is a practical pick if the specs and code line up.

Common Questions (4)

  • The promo codes appear to be mismatched across the variants: one code worked on the 60-inch silver version, while other attempts on the three listings failed. If a code errors, checking the payment step can reveal whether it actually applied.

  • The built-in-cable version appears to max out at 45W, not the full 65W shown in some photos. The listing images also conflict, with one showing 65W max speed and another showing 30W, so the power may be shared across ports.

  • It can charge phones fast and has been used every day for almost a year without issues. That makes it a practical option if you want a compact car charger for regular commuting or travel.

  • One report says a similar LISEN charger's USB-C port stopped working after about a week, but another says this charger has worked daily for almost a year. That suggests the long-term reliability may vary by unit.

Looks like a good option to throw in my travel bag to eventually donate to a rental car company when I'm running late for a flight and leave it in the console.
I've learned to keep everything in my travel bag when in a rental car to avoid making a donation.

Who is using usb-a for a car charger in 2026? Absolute junk.
Fast charging is terrible for battery longevity

You don't have to fast charge with USB-C.

Usually it's inevitable, all usbc chargers are fast charge anything another 30w is "fast charge"

Fast charging isn't inherently bad for the your battery, it's the extra heat generated from fast charging. Just keep it cool and you'll be fine.

The site says the codes are not valid. "The promotional code you entered is not valid."
