If you're spending at the merchant normally then this is not much of a risk. If you are buying gift cards for not normal spend then you are foolish. People buying all dunkin gift cards are pretty stupid. I wouldn't even waste my time for that. I still have $40 of Dunkin credit from T-Mobile offers for 5-10 years ago that was never used
exactly. I bought Home Depot cards and Newegg cards. The newegg cards might sit a while before they were spent but they would get spent, likely on a product that was a front page slickdeal. I also bought a pizza at Domino's

how about you oblige me by looking up every similar case then guide us through their faults and merits before each outcome?

Yeah there is language in the terms of this offer bringing up abuse which would be something to debate if it even got that far
Just asked for 1 Smilie I've been doing this a long time. Deals like this are essentially YMMV (until there's a ton of consistent data points of success) and your recourse when it goes wrong varies greatly. This was always true historically but you have less tools than ever for recourse in today's climate. We already tread the line of abuse for what the promo intends, and people drive up costs and limit opportunities in the future when they moan and complain to banks and advocacy groups that they couldn't get their 71st free gift card to be free.

if they change the offer that should only apply to transactions after the change. If they say the changes apply retroactively then they open themselves up to lawsuits and investigations
You could sue Paze but good luck when the suit is tied up in litigation for years. Paze can ask the merchant to provide details of the purchase during litigation and the company can easily deny credit because it's gift cards purchase.

Generally I agree as well, but I also brought up earlier how there was years of issues with gift card balances being drained before use. I don't know if that's changed but it's been a big problem with multiple vendors in recent years.

Maybe I'm underestimating how much rich people with lawyers on retainer are doing these deals Smilie and apparently get very excited when they can pursue legal avenues to get their free GCs that obviously were not the primary intention of the promo.

This here is a way out for Paze for not issuing credit.

If Paze, a participating financial institution, or participating merchant determines, in their sole discretion, that you have engaged in or attempted fraud, abuse, misuse, or gaming related to this Offer, you may be deemed ineligible for the Offer, and your participating financial institution may reverse or remove previously issued statement credits or temporarily prohibit you from earning statement credits.

Nice

everyone, you can still buy Newegg gift cards on Newegg if you use an Android mobile browser. I used Firefox one minute ago and it still works. I have read that mobile Chrome still works but haven't verified

After years of watching and hearing abuses online for this kind of deal, I am sure many promos now have a clause that protects the issuers. Newegg can easily alert Paze and show Paze that this promo is being abused.

I have a feeling a lot of people who went with $10 gift cards are in for a shock lol

You may think big banks are not going to do this, but they are the ones definitely going to do this.

I wish others would do what Amazon & Apple do - use gift cards to load a separately maintained account balance.

I mean if you purchased 30 gift cards within several hours, that fits the definition of abuse. You can argue that I am buying for my work colleagues, family, or company raffles. But when thousands of buyers are using the same excuse, not gonna fly.

There are multiple issues with this idea. One buying 10 orders of gift cards is not abuse. Second newegg has no incentive to stop this offer. They are making money for every order. It is the banks that are paying out the statement credits.
