New promo terms:
Paze is not available at Newegg for subscriptions, pre-orders, backorders, trade-in orders, third-party gift cards (digital or physical). To learn more about this campaign and exclusions, visit paze.com/offers
However, per Paze spokesperson:
"I want to let you know that because usage has become heavily concentrated at one merchant, we are clarifying the program's eligibility for certain transactions to better align with the original goal of driving broad, sustained adoption. This promotion was designed to introduce cardholders to Paze and encourage them to use it as a convenient checkout option across many online retailers over time.
Practically, what this means is that consumers will no longer be able to purchase third-party gift cards through Newegg with this promotion."
The spokesperson also confirmed that orders placed from yesterday until today, when Newegg stopped allowing Paze for 3rd-party gift cards, will be honored as per the original promo terms. Per the terms, it can take up to 2 billing cycles for that credit to post to your account.

Another interesting observation...I recently obtained the Citi Custom Cash before they closed applications. For that card, it appears that Paze is unavailable through the Citi Card Control portal. I also did a product change from Doublecash to Custom Cash, and that card does show up in Paze.

I hope we don't have to raise tickets or argue with customer service to get the promised $10 credit.

In the Paze dashboard, it doesn't show any transaction history like Paypal would.
However NONE of these transactions are shown in the Paze Wallet. Also when the charge FULLY posts on the credit card website - it is shown as a NORMAL credit card charge. There is NO INDICATION of a Paze wallet. This is very distinct from the way Paypal operates. You can see the transactions both in the CC charge and on the paypal website. No such thing with Paze.
All that begs the question - how will the transactions for refunds be identified? Is this all a scam?

Though some did say that with Chase, since they are also offering 10X points on Paze purchases, they see their rewards balance go up (might need to post first).
If you need reassurance, some people have spent thousands on this deal with Newegg Giftcards, Dunkin Giftcards, etc. There's a huge thread on Doctors of Credit about it.

My normal virtual account number transactions are labeled "Virtual Account Number" so Citi isn't confusing the two.

I typed into google search " Restaurants near me that use PAZE" and it came up with a few results.
