This 5 foot Beats USB A to USB C woven cable stands out as a low cost CarPlay and travel cable, with the braided build drawing comparisons to Apple's newest iPhone charging cable. It is reported to fix delayed connections and disconnects in a 2020 Nissan Murano, and it fits well for airplane or rental car use. The main drawback is charging speed, since it is described as only 15 watts and noticeably slower than an Apple USB C to USB C cord. A handy pick when CarPlay reliability matters more than fast charging.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. It has been used successfully as a CarPlay cable, including fixing delayed connections and disconnects in a 2020 Nissan Murano with iPhone 17 Pro Max and 15 Pro Max. It is a practical choice for in-car use when other cables have been unreliable.
It is reported as 15W, so it is not a high-wattage fast-charging cable. That makes it better suited for CarPlay, travel, and general charging than for maximizing charging speed.
Yes. The 5-foot woven cable is a convenient choice for airplane or rental car use, and it is also described as matching the quality of Apple's braided cable that comes with newer iPhones.
Charging can be slow compared with an Apple USB-C to USB-C charging cable. It still works for charging and CarPlay, but it is not the best pick if speed is the priority.
