I think this is a solid deal. Holy cow. I stayed away from buying that TV M9 which had the same panel 4th gen but lower refresh rate and was more tailored for media and TV use, but this one is pure gaming monitor. I might not be able to resist and get another 32" OLED. Two for one desk is a lot but this is too good to pass

Oh, I have a student account (https://www.samsung.com/us/multis...ucation_2/) but not an employee account (https://shop.samsung.com/us/multi...rkplace_3/)

Edit: Both seem to offer the same discounted price of $599.

One strange thing I notice - 27" isnt discounted so it costs more than the 32" right now which is funny.

This is a "buy first comment later" type deal if you have EDU/EPP...

Even without it, last time I've seen this cheaper was ~2+ years ago at $800

Wait, I thought this was a 2026 model? Is it not?

I saw that too. 27" is $100 more expensive. Wish it was $100 cheaper!

This is an older version, not 2026. Your screenshot is also showing an older version.

What's the difference between the different release years (models)?

I had both the 32 and 27. I got rid of the 32 and regret it.

FYI if you talk to a samsung representative you can get it for even cheaper lol. I was able to get an additional $50 off bringing the subtotal before taxes to $535.04.

If you have amex 125 off 1250, get two and add 60 dollars for 1260-125

In terms of specs, not much. The older G80SD came with Tizen and a remote, functioning like a tiny smart tv. They removed those features in this newer panel. Whether that's a pro or a con comes down is up to you.
